Baltimore RavensLamar Jackson has set the world on fire with his performances this season. He and Russell Wilson are the NFL MVP favorites this year. Jackson has been nothing short of excellent in almost every game this season. Jackson started off this season being conservative about his rushing ability but in the past few weeks he has embraced it. Jackson could potentially break Michael Vick’s rushing record of 1,039 rushing yards, an incredible feat for only a second-year player. Jackson has also been proficient in the passing game as well, completing just over 66% of his passes, throwing the 6th most touchdown passes at 19, and just 5 interceptions. Achieving the 5th highest QBR in the NFL so far at 104.4. Jackson will face the Jalen Ramsey and the Rams secondary in week 12. One of his toughest matchups so far this season, Ramsey will put Jackson to the test.
Los Angeles Rams Analysis:
Los Angeles RamsThe Rams have taken a step back this season after winning the NFC Championship and going to the Super Bowl last year. No longer the most feared offense in the NFL, a lot has to do with the quarterback play from the former #1 overall draft pick in 2016 NFL Draft Jared Goff. Goff has failed to complete more than 61% of his passes in the past 6 games and has failed to throw a touchdown in the past two games and has thrown 3 interceptions in that time. Goff needs to be better. Facing the Ravens in week 12 who have allowed the 6th most passing yards, 7th highest yards per completion, 17th highest yards per attempt, but have allowed the 3rd fewest passing touchdowns. The Ravens also have the 10th most interceptions in the NFL. An overall solid matchup for Goff. With a healthy Brandin Cooks returning to the offense and weapons like Cooper Kupp and Todd Gurley at his disposal, this is as good of a week as any for Goff to get back on track.
